Our topics include SonicWall's Update on their Unified Threat Management (UTM) products. We will be continuing our coverage of Cougar (SBS 2008). Main Program SonicWall's Update on their Unified Threat Management (UTM) products Network security threats have changed from script kiddies just having fun to money motivated and organized individuals looking to profit from known and unknown vulnerabilities. SonicWall has recently released an updated group of UTM firewall product that addresses advanced network security threats while keeping up with the increased speeds required by many distributed applications.
This informative presentation will bring you up to date on our latest technology, and review our application firewall, content filtering, Intrusion Pretension, deep packet inspection, and wireless networking features built into the SonicWall NSA products. We will also discuss the need for SSL VPN, and email security, and data protection products. Product demonstration and Q&A session will be part of the agenda.

This month's BASBITS (Bay Area Small Business Information Technology Specialists) Users Group Meeting will focus on disaster recovery and tools to move a server quickly from one box to another as presented by our special guests from StorageCraft.
BASBITS is a local users group for IT Professionals who add value to small business clients' Small Business Server.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, May 23rd starting promptly at 6pm in the California Conference Room at 1798-B Bay Rd, East Palo Alto, CA 94303. Pizza and drinks will be there by 5:45pm. Cost is just $10 at the door.
Directions: Take University Ave to Bay Road and head east on Bay Road. Even though the street numbers go up as you are driving east on Bay Road, 1796 is before 1794 and 1798-B is just past Clark Road. So as you pass Clarke Ave (the first stop sign after University Ave, turn right into the long parking lot. Our meeting is held in the big building at the end of the parking lot.
